Implementing Agency: Seeds of Goodness Team
Location: Displacement Camps – Al-Mawasi Area, Khan Yunis
Number of Beneficiary Families: 200 Families
Unit Cost: $32
Total Campaign Cost: $6,400
Campaign Description:
Following the remarkable success of the first campaign in March, which represented the beginning of a regular monthly intervention within the emergency food plan, and amidst the ongoing stifling blockade, rising prices, and scarcity of food supplies, the Seeds of Goodness Team launched its second campaign of the Food Parcels Project.
Amid the ongoing suffering plaguing the displacement camps in Al-Mawasi, where decent living conditions are lacking and families are forced to sleep on the ground without shelter, this campaign is an extension of the ceaseless journey of giving, woven by the hands of regular donors and charitable people everywhere.
The campaign included the distribution of complete food parcels to 200 displaced families in dire need, selected based on careful field assessments. The parcels help provide a minimum level of food security for two weeks, and include rice, legumes, pasta, oil, sugar, flour, and other items.
The team completed the preparation and distribution process with the highest levels of professionalism, taking into account the health and social priorities of the elderly, families with children, and the sick.
🟢 Impact of the Campaign:
The campaign covered the basic food needs of 200 displaced families for two weeks.
It helped reduce the psychological and living stress of affected families, especially in light of the lack of income sources.
It supported mothers and housewives in coping with feelings of helplessness and uncertainty regarding their children.
It strengthened people's confidence in the continuity of goodness and that they are not alone in facing hunger and suffering.
🔔 Very Important Institutional Notice
In compliance with integrity, transparency, and institutional standards, we draw your attention to the fact that campaign costs remain fixed in most cases to accommodate the circumstances of our regular donors.
Therefore, any change in local prices will result in adjusting the package components in terms of number or specifications, to meet the purpose and achieve the public interest of the beneficiaries.
