Implementing Body: Seeds of Goodness Team
Implementation Period: November 2024
Location: Displaced Persons Camps – Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis

Project Description:

As the harsh winter approaches the exposed areas of Al-Mawasi in Khan Younis, where thousands of displaced families are living in extremely dire conditions and with nearly no resources, the Seeds of Goodness Team launched the “Tent Covering and Renovation – First Campaign” as an urgent humanitarian response aimed at protecting families from heavy rains and freezing temperatures.

This campaign targeted 1,000 displaced families by providing new tarpaulins (tent covers) to replace worn-out and torn tents that could no longer offer basic shelter. These new covers provided a level of security and warmth, helping to preserve the dignity of displaced people living out in the open.

Costs:

Cost per Unit: USD 61

Total Cost: USD 61,000

Impact:

The project alleviated the suffering of thousands of children, women, and the elderly by addressing a fundamental need: shelter that protects from harsh weather conditions, offering them a sense of safety amid the storm.

🔔 Important Notice:

Therefore, any local price variation is reflected in the campaign components (quantity or specifications) in a way that serves the beneficiaries' best interests and fulfills the intended humanitarian purpose.
